Project Objective: This project will introduce 4-H members with limited horse experience to horse basics – grooming, saddling, breeds, safety, etc; give 4-H members an opportunity for hands-on experience with horses, and expose 4-H members to the Horse opportunities offered within 4-H.

Equipment/Cost:  $15 per 4-H member (at the last meeting) where 4-H members will ride a horse

Project Meetings: We will meet approx. 4-5 times this year on weekend days for about 1.5 hours each session (likely Saturdays, early afternoon or Sunday afternoons depending on member and barn schedules). Most meetings will be held at a horse barn in Princeton.

Competitions: None
